To bad this glorious web side doesn't have a section of ... let say... "Nice Shots Waisted Through Poor Scanning" or for short...NSWTPS

 Insane

Just copy and paste the URL's into a new window, that works

You can see compression on the photos

Thanks for help. Yes these photos were compressed at the time I finished editing them right before uploading. In my editing viewer they apeared good enough for an uploading attempt!
I think would be useful to have some sort of online viewer-edit utility so that we can have an instant feed back as to how pohotos are looking trough Airliners.net browser.
There are concerns regarding photo quality preserving when using various editing software.

My recommendation would be to NEVER compress pics before you upload them, at least until you really know what you are doing. Why compress shots after you've worked on them? It may be painful and time consuming to upload between 400k and 600k for each photo, but if that's what achieves results so be it - let airliners.net do the compression for you. This policy has always worked for me...  Smile

There is one - its called Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. Before you upload any pic, I'd recommend you look at the JPEG using a normal browser as this will give you a much better feel for how a photo will look than will an image editing tool such as Photoshop.
