Your opinions in helping me figure out why these two shots were rejected for motiv will be appreciated. I will deal with the other reasons as they can be fixed.
This cockpit shot was rejected for motiv and quality. Please assist me in understanding the motiv issue here. I will deal with the quality issue myself.
This wing shot was rejected for motive and oversharpened. I am not aware of any new regulations on Anet banning wing shots. This is a shot of the right wing of G-VHOL as we flew over the Sahara desert in Algeria. The sun made the winglet bright and this is in contrast with the Harmattan haze over the desert. I have uploaded other wing shots of other planes without any problems. The issue of oversharpening is subjective and can be easily remedied.
Your advice and opinions will be appreciated.
Thanks
Ken.

First shot : strange crop, cockpit cut in half, and the FO seat in the pic that block the view...
Second shot : have no idea...an imput by a screener would be appreciated. Maybe, yes, it is a bit oversharpened, but cannot figure out why you got a NOA motive there...

Let's say the overexpossed sky does not help either...
For the second, if it were only motive, I would guess the screener thought there is nothing really interesting enough to see (on the ground). Now, if you think there is, then adjust sharpening and resubmit, as the worst that could happen is another rejection!
Just sit back, relax and have a glass of Merlot...enjoy your life!

Motivewise: unattractive crop; you cut off half the cockpit leaving no hint what you really wanna show
Qualitywise: nothing to deal with; qualitywise this shot is lost for A.net (soft, grain, exposure)

A.net doesn't ban wingshots, only they have to be done well especially if the aircraft in question has 70+ pictures already in the database. Your wingshot is oversharpened and doesn't show anything but blue sky. There's no way of telling if the landscape below is the Algerian desert, a dry province in the Ukraine or some tundra in Argentina.
