Hello everyone,
I submitted this photo and was rejected for two reasons:
1.) the background alignment was not fully corrected (I was off by maybe 0.8 degree).
2.) quality of photo not up to standard.

I went ahead and corrected issue number 1. For number 2, I wasn't quite sure what to do post-image processing wise...the photo was shot in RAW on Panasonic Lumix FZ50, initial post processing done on SilkyPIX and then Adobe Photoshop. I tried by adding small amounts of noise reduction, did smart sharpening, and slightly higher contrast and different white balance value. But I'm still not sure if this is enough. I would like to ultimately resubmit this photo... Please any suggestion will be awesome, since if this picture makes the cut it'll be my first Airliners.net photo ever (myaviation.net not counting).

Thanks in advance!

Looks like really dirty glass you shot through. I don't think there is anything you can do to correct it. It's got issues, (#2) is absolutely right.

*sigh* you're right. The glass in the TSA terminal was kinda scratched up...that was the cleanest spot I could find.  Sad

Well, while I'm on the subject, what can I improve on for the UNI Air photo? This was one was taken outside, no barriers.

Thanks JeffM for your response...

I saw a lot of "quality rejection" postings and someone posted somewhere that pretty much any non-sunny shots are almost guaranteed for rejection. So the image above probably can't be improved anyway. Thanks for the help and I'll just have to wait for a sunny day.

AIRLINERS.NET CREW
PHOTO SCREENER

Both have quality issues because of conditions, also 2nd one would get clutter rejection aswell.
