So today was my day off from work, well I booked the day off cause I was gonna go away for the weekend to Falls with girl but it didn't happen cause of the bad weather so I decided to go to YYZ to catch KL691 since it was gonna be late for 2 hours. I live about 40kms away from the airport so I head out at 230pm, I wish I left bit early as I found out, Traffic on the 401 west on friday is crazy. I got to yyz around 420-430 since I was driving around the airport and didn't know where to go for spotting. I was very close to the runways, so a lots of planes taking off but I was on the end of things. So I drove around to Airport road where I spotted the Wendy's parking lot as mention here before I pull up there and right of the back I saw the AC flight from NRT. I didn't get a lot of shots as I missed all the European Inbounds and it was too damn could out there. I thought it might have been a little bit warmer by the airport but I guess I was wrong. Anyways trying to take pictures today really made me take off me my hat to those who have upload endless and beautiful pictures to this site for me you to view as it is not easy at all to grab a picture of a moving plane. well here are the few pics I got today. Thanks for reading.

Looks like you found one of the good spots at YYZ, at that time in the afternoon you might want to try to be on the other side of the aircraft. There are some good places that you can check out but yes in the cold weather its very hard to leave your car and venture out. In the summer these are better places to visit, only because you have to leave your car behind. I am afraid that the best spotting location is no longer in YYZ, the old Fedex Hill have been leveled and I believe UPS is going to be moving in.
Glad to see you are taking an interest in photography, what camera are you using? It seems these days most of the photogs who get photo's accepted are using a DSLR camera and have invested a lot in lenses, if you have any questions or need any help, let me know... I am a fellow YYZ'er but I live in Barrie now, so its harder to get out. If the wind is from the north and the arrivals are on the 33's... you might just see me out there,
