Had a good run of successive acceptances however had two rejected today for 'soft'. Looks like I may have been getting a little complacent with PS and under-sharpened. I also used a different lens to previous acceptances which I forgot produces slightly softer images.

So before I upload the below shot I just need a few opinions. Sharp enough or does it need more?

Great shot, but seems a little soft.

OK Florian...

...but don't tell the screeners - I think such activity may be frowned upon and considered 'manipulation'.  Big grin

I barely made it to this spot to get the picture. I was actually still driving when I first spotted it taxiing so I did well to get into position in time. Unfortunately my settings were still as they were from the last session but it's come out very well regardless. The histogram indicated a very slight underexposure, so nothing to worry about. I was more concerned about a soft rejection, to be honest.

Cheers,

Karl

Definately soft patches Karl and underexposed.

Your leading edges seem ok but the rest needs some USM work.

Good luck .. Jid
P.S. I had the same problem with the fence last Sunday!

Definately better. The Clouds above the forward fuselage are distracting, but it's a nice shot.

It looks low in the frame on my monitor.
