Hello again guys.  wave

How would one classify this aircraft? I've looked in the database and couldn't find another example like it. Also, what are the chances of this one getting a spot in the database? I don't generally like shooting under fluorescent lights and I didn't really have much choice with the angle, so I don't really know what to expect.

Thanks.

A T-34 trainer, not rare in the database but this one is new to it.

Generic: Beech T-34 Mentor
Version: Beech T-34C Mentor
Airline: USA - Navy
Reg: 160268
Cn: GL-4
Code: G-0268

Photo looks OK as far as I'm concerned (which doesn't say a lot) except that it needs 0.5 deg of CCW rotation - easy to work out from the hangar door central verticals.

Take a look at the following link and you should be alright:

http://www.airliners.net/search/phot...esearch=USA%20-%20Navy&thumbnails=

Yours would be with the registration 160268.

Concerning quality of the picture: looks good, maybe add some saturation to make the red come out a little better and recheck the levelling (I think it needs some CCW rotation) and you should be fine.

Good luck!

Thierry

P.S.: Peter got it all worked out for you!  Wink

DeltaAVL.

Database searches can be tricky at times but the Aircraft is a T-34C Turbo Mentor of the US Navy.
Whilst this aircraft does not appear to be represented in the DB there are something like 58 photos of USN Mentors online here including this very close sister-

Thanks guys, that's exactly what I was looking for! I fixed the leveling and now it's sitting in the queue.

That really is a lousy angle, be prepared for a motive rejection.

It is, but since it's a new reg I think it will be accepted.
