just wondering if anyone can give a current situation report on spotting status at CDG, i read somewhere that you can obtain a permit to spot from the French govt..does anyone know more about this?

I'm looking at heading to Paris during my trip at the end of the year.

thanks

Hi,

The info I have from the latest Airliner World magazine is that to get persission to take photographs you have to send a fax of the photograph page of your passport and a simple covering letter about why you want to take photographs to;

Xavier Huby
Commandant de Police
Charge de l'Observatoire de la delinquance et du suivi de Contrat Aeroportuaire de Securite sur l'aeroport de Roissy
Charles de Gaulle

Tel: 0033 (0)1 74 37 77
Fax: 0033 (0)1 48 62 75 88

Hope this helps and have a good trip.

Happy to help mate.

There are a few of those sloped accent lines that some French letters have above some of the words in there but I can't do them on my keyboard. I guess it will be ok without them especially if you fax it rather than post it.
