Hi all,

The shot below was rejected for dirty, but I can't find the dirt.

Big version: Width: 1200 Height: 798 File size: 857kb

Anyone able to give me directions on where the dirt is?

Thanks,

Martin

Marty...
Heavy Metal on Horn Island... must have been exciting!!!

As for the dirt.. beats the hell out of me, I can't find any.
Personally I would appeal.

Cheers

Chris

If your camera sends text messages, that could explain why your photos are rubbish!

PHOTO SCREENER

I see a couple of spots that could have been mistaken for dirt, maybe, but are really clouds. The big dark spot on the right side of the windshield, and a spot in the clouds at about the 50 on the X coordinate and 300 on the Y if you have the ruler selected.

I would appeal.

It was. At any other airport its just a Challenger. Here it was like the best thing seen in years!!!

rotfl  Thanks but I somehow don't think thats what they mean't!

Quoting Clickhappy (Reply 3):

Thanks Royal. It also got dark, (which was a surprise) so won't appeal. I'll attend to the suspect spots bought up here and re-upload...

What was this baby doing at Horn?

Only thing big out there are the Coastwatch birds...

Probably more to the point, why were you at Horn?  Silly

My guess would be the "more than normal" reflection on the leading edge in the extreme left of the photo.

Not dirt in a classical way, but enough distraction for calling is so

Carting some government officials around or something like that.

No No the only Coastwatch birds here are islanders.

Biggest things here are Sunstate and Air Niugini Dashes, and the Regional Pacific Twin Otter.

Very busy up here which alot of folks don't realise. Its apparently the most busiest Non-towered airport in Australia. All movements though, are smaller aircraft.

I'm here on a 8 - 10 month stint with Surveillance Australia.

If that was the case, then hopefully the screener would have left a note.

That doesn't mean that you're also employed with Cobham / NAS / NJS does it?
