Hi all,
I was surprised to find that I finally got a photo accepted here at Airliners.net today. Rather than start a self-glossing thread (which would be futile anyway, since it would most likely get deleted), I decided to start this one. So, post your first accepted Airliners.net shot!
Nothing may come from this, but at least it's something different from the "I Need Advice" lingo. I bought my 400D in January and have been teaching myself how to use it for a few months now and I don't regret investing in my new hobby one bit.
My first accepted shot, the Navy C-40A I recently flew on from Fallon, NV (KNFL) to Oceana, VA (KNTU), BUNO 165835:
My first acceptance after... seven different photos rejected, I think. Got this one on my first try. It was worth it, because that particular day the temps were in the teens and I was freezing my toes off even with the occasional run into the heated car.

This is my first and only photo. I got it accepted on my first try; it's the only photo I have ever uploaded. Thanks to Lew/ EWS for the help editing this picture. Right now I need to get my censor cleaned cuz it has like 4 or 5 dust spots.

I remember how elated I was when I got the acceptance email from this shot, one of those good old childhood memories I guess It was taken with a 3.2 mpxl camera with no zoom - those were the days...
... and I have my first real airliner in the queue now (if it would be accepted, than that would mean my first airliner on A.net, so far I only have military stuff on here).

Exact date of uploading is not known, Johan had no such statistics back then. But it was somewhere in summer 1998.
At first a very crappy scan (in those days almost everything got accepted), later reuploaded with another crappy scan (but less crappy than before).
Accepted after 30 rejected pics . But the fourth I sent after changing my workflow . I used to make all editing actions and resize as last action, so I think it's a normal thing to have 30 rejections with such a workflow.
