Motive Clarification

Hi guys!

Got this one rejected for motive only:

Surprised me a little bit as it's a standard terminal shot. The photo was ticked as "airport overview" and the most prominent plane in the picture, namely the BA A319, was given under the registration.
I'd be happy if you could clear me up on why this one got a motive rejection.

I think it is because only a band of 10% of the photo is of interest, and the terminal is hardly shown at all.

I have not seen this one before but it would have got the same from me. The foreground has absolutely no interest, the middle ground is cluttered and distracting, a band of interest and a lot of sky

So I guess this is one of those shots that only have real interest if you've been there. Never mind; it will make a nice personal souvenir!

Yes, I think so.. unfortunately. There are just too many empty gates and too much dead space on the right side of the picture...
