Hi Fred
Your pictures present problems for being mostly blurry, dark and killed by motive issues. Not always do these apply simultaneously to all of your pics, but I believe you might not be able to solve all these issues. You´ve got some centering problems on some pics, and some size problems in others as well. Be sure to edit your images within the 3:2 and 4:3 accepted frame ratios.
I´ll second what Martin previously said: Keep practising. His tips are spot-on, maybe you´ll need to shoot in broad daylight and focusing first in framing the whole aircraft and leaving close-ups for when you get more experience. Also, review your camera settings, because you´re having blurriness in almost all of your pictures, so I thought that maybe you were shooting with a slow shutter speed.
And at last, when you post, try to show some few shots, because it´s better for us to view up to 4 or 5 photos and not a whole 15-20 bunch. I believe you´ll receive more and quicker feedback if you post fewer shots.
Hope it helps.
Cheers!

cheers guys, was only my second time out taking pics so il keep practising. I use P mode on my camera and shutter speeds were quite quick, normally around 1/400th. what process do you guys tend to go through with editing?

Quoting Flipdewaf (Reply 3): what process do you guys tend to go through with editing?
There are a couple of workflows around. There is Fergul McClean´s guidelines (I believe they are in the upload page) and also a very complete guide by Thierry Deutsch on www.planecatcher.com/IGRR.htm if you like. You could look up for older threads with the 'workflow' keyword and I guess several posts will appear.
That could be a good basis to start with. In my case, I´ve read several workflows and took the best advices from them, and also learnt from the forum and by contacting other photographers.
Good luck.
Cheers
