I am looking for the experts on LAX intl. Where are the good spots to just go and shoot and watch them come in and out. Also are there any hotels near there with good views? Thanks

most of all these places are also good for just watching!

Some hotels that are good is basically anything right next to the Airport (i cant think of name but there is a good 20+)
but probably the most famous is the radisson

Wow, that link was awesome. Now I can plan my trip. I wish the radisson was cheaper...lol.

In N' Out is my favorite spot, its not the best spot for trying to get shots on to Anet except for late evening/sunset shots, but for watching airplanes up close while eating some good fast food, I recommend it as a must do if you go to LAX.

Hey FastEddie07

You going to LAX to shoot?? How about spotting with us one day here in Vegas. There are several guys who frequent LAS and I can help you with access.

I second the In 'n' Out. If you just want to kick back and watch the action, there's a nice little grassy area adjacent to the actual fast food joint. When transitting through LAX on the way home, I always allow a long-ish layover before the late night flight back to Sydney and head to In 'n' Out. It's an idyllic way to spend the evening!  cloudnine

I suppose, as a photographer, I should check out some other spots. But hey... you can never have too much of a good thing!

That first cold day in December can't come fast enough. You kmow I will be there Dave!

As far as LAX there are so many good spots. The IN-N-OUT is awesome as well as the others. Enjoy.

Nik...I'm thinking Oct.. it starts to cool and hopefully the sun gets south enough to give me back that wonderful light!!

I'm not complaining as I have found other spots to shoot from during the summer. It's hard to get up at dawn but I force my self and then there is 25R from the right late in the day!!

My understanding is you can't shoot from the Rad rooftop anymore. That site does not list the area which I think is tops. Parking lot C. That's where I sat for hours. Whether its a 744 or a saab 340, that lot is great!

Listen Betty, don't start up with your 'White Zone' s*** again.

True. The Radisson is a no go anymore.
