Please let me know can be improved on this shot. I'm sure it is not up to A.net quality so i need your help getting it there. For some reason, I can't upload the original, so I will try and get it here, as soon as I can. This was shot through a glass window at LHR so if that is just a no-no, then please let me know.

Thanks

Ashwin

The easiest thing for you to do is to compare your shot to the photos of the same plane in the database.

The aircraft is backlit, so that doesn´t help, quality-wise. It´s too dark and lacks some contrast as well. Have you done any editing to the pic or just resized?

As it stands, it looks very dark, among other quality issues. Usually window shots like this can be saved, but it might take some time and effort.

I would have to agree with Royal & Jeff.

Before I upload a photo I ask 2 questions(in addition to the standard Quality,Motive etc questions)
A/ Does the photo add value to the A.net DB?
B/ Does the photo add value/enhance my personal portfolio?

If I cannot answer yes to both of those then the other questions are irrelevent.

If number of accepted photos, number of hits are the way you measure success then the above does not apply but it is the way I work.

Cheers

If your camera sends text messages, that could explain why your photos are rubbish!
