Too much colour and sharpness. Jaggies around the engines.

Yeap, and maybe a slight green color cast? And keep the with at 1200 px, with 1204x800 you are out of the 3:2 crop ratio...

That wont be a problem, I've had shots accepted at 1220 x 801, 1203 x 800, 1249 x 800, and 1209 x 800.

Reduce the saturation. And it's still over-sharpened around the engine cowlings. Shame it's not a 787.  Wink

Heres the shot with no sharpening done to it and less color. The shot looks really, really soft on my computer but whever i upload to A.net it always sharpens it up a little. Is this how the screeners see it?

Best I could do. I'm not great at sharpening to be honest.

Thats pretty good, you mind telling me what USM settings you used? Amount and radius.

I didn't. I just selected sharpen edges. USM is too technical for an old git like me.  Wink

Daniel

The pic is very nice, but it has an intense blue colour cast. Ian´s edit is on the right track, but it looks a bit flat and also oversharpened in some areas. Try to crop tighter on the left. You could have it rejected for motive because of the cut-off elevator. Either leave it in, or cut it our as much as you can.

I gave it a shot. It´s still too blue, but tried to work it around with USM. I applied three passes of 200 at 0.2, and one at 130 at 0.2, always with 0 threshold.
