I can see the LH MD-11Fs and other stuff coming into EMA over my house most nights. Only when they are using 27 though. They are at 5000ft or so so pics are not really possible.

I visited a friend yesterday who lives in an elevated part of town, and I was pleasantly surprised to see SOU traffic very low indeed on the way into rwy 02. Wrong time of day for pictures but in the morning sun I'd definitely sit in the garden with a beer and shoot away...

I don't live near an airport anymore but I am right under the flight path of most of the trans Atlantic flight from Europe to the west and visa versa. You think with my 500/4 and 1Dn I get a few good shots but nope, still ahev to master that a bit.
Since we have had such wonderfull weather, NOT!!  banghead  still waiting for the clouds to clear and the sun to come out.

Wanted!!!! One large big bright SUN  sun  to start work IMEDIATELY. Position is permanent, with benefits and health plan. Please contact me to arrange an imediate interview.
