PHOTO SCREENER

Hi,

I got this picture rejected today with the reasons size and quality:

http://www.airliners.net/addphotos/r...tions/big/20070714_SP-BPU_0607.jpg

This picture has the size 1200 x 800 as all my pictures. So I can't understand this reason.

Furthermore I don't see any quality problems in this picture.

What do you think, should I appeal?

Thanks a lot!

Greetings
Klaus

Did the screeners tell you why it was rejected?
Personally I think it is a great photo and I dont see any reason for rejection.

It is a wired size keep it at 1024x683-768 and it also has some quality issue (i.e. soft blurry etc...)

It looks OK to me, except that it is maybe cropped too close.

His size is perfectly fine. I upload my shots in that region and have had them accepted. If he appeals it size will probably be the only thing to turn out to be an incorrect rejection. It is just a little soft but i dont see any real quality issues.

If anything, it looks just a tad dark overall.

Hi Klaus! very nice picture, and I do like the size. However, on my monitor there is a strange blur, looks almost as if you had water vapor on the lens...anyway, this is present on the wing right along the entire flap line, and it gets stronger as it goes out. The top of the engine also displays it...very strange anyhow, and I'd be interested to know what it is.

Love the clouds in the background, though, quite a nice catch.

I checked the pictures of this airliner again. I don't know what it is but I think it is a result of the light conditions at this day. Compare this one for example (accepted):

http://www.airliners.net/open.file?i...=2&prev_id=1235656&next_id=1235496

So I don't know what the problem is. Both pictures are the same quality...

It looks like it might be a lighting issue indeed. I've never seen that before, so thanks for showing.  Smile
