Got two rejected for quality. Normally I can see and justify my rejections but these two baffled me.

Obviously the size on the second one was a gamble, but I thought it had a good chance. So I'm thinking a re-size on the second one, but what about the first?

Both, especially N650DL, look oversharpened. I don't see any problem with the quality necessarily, but they definitely look oversharpened to me...

They are sharpened a little too much. If you look around the window areas and registration you can see it has been oversharpened.

Sharpen less and it could make it. I also dont see any other quality issues.

That make sense as the other rejection reason was, in fact, over sharpened. I forgot to mention that as I typed away in haste earlier.

Hi,
yes, both of them are a bit oversharpened but to be honest I've seen worse getting in lately, especially N650DL doesn't look too bad and I think it was a bit strict to reject it. Second one was rejected correctly IMO, the quality isn't there for a size that big and to me it looks like it also suffers a bit from heat-haze.

Well I've taken another crack at both shots and gave each a little less USM, as well as downsized the second one to 1024 and here's what I got...
