Hi all,
This photo was rejected for CATEGORY (only).
I only ticked MILITARY. Unless I'm overseeing something, the problem is probably that I didn't tick PRESERVED. This is because the help text states:
An aircraft in a scrapyard, or abandoned in the corner of a field, or used as a firebrigade burn trainer, or stored pending a decision on their future, are NOT preserved aircraft
Is this rejection a mistake, or one of these cases in which the help text simply does not reflect the actual rules? In other words, should I appeal?
Also, is the picture level?
Thanks,
Peter

Hi Peter
I don´t know much about categories, but if you´ve followed the guidelines correctly, then the option of appealing certainly rises as a possibility.
As for the level issue, maybe I´d give it a bit CW rotation.
Good luck with it.
Cheers

Thanks for your replies. I also got a couple of PMs, and I really should appeal the rejection reason I think.
However, I'm really not sure the photo is level, and also, I don't like it very much any more. The wingtip is cut off and I really should have hidden that pink eyesore behind the fuselage, but I wanted to include FX41.
So unless a few of you tell me you actually do like it a lot, I guess I won't appeal.
Maybe it's a good idea to change the Preserved category to Retired, including wrecks. But it almost seems to me that no-one in the a.net staff has the authority to make that kind of changes.
