To all LHR, FRA, ZRH spotters,
the new A340-600 arrives at Frankfurt Airport on Saturday, 27th at 12:00 for some parking tests at the terminals.
On Sunday, 28th it will depart to ZRH at 6:00 a.m., arriving ZRH at 7:00 a.m.
Before its FRA visit it will be at LHR but I don´t know any times there. It will probably depart from LHR at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.
I hope you guys will be able to catch it! Good luck to all!
I will be waiting here at Frankfurt.

Staffan - BRU? No, you just be content with all your Sabena 737's and 146's
AviationIvi - I have yet to visit LHR with my new digi cam so have no pics to upload, I do have some shots from LHR on airliners.net but from 1 year ago so not very good!
Paul - How do you always know times of Concorde/New VS arrivals/A340-600? Are you an insider?

Hi guys,
Paul: now you are not alone at LHR
Lewis: as I wrote to LGW: believe it or not I would but note: it will probably arrive at LHR on Friday. It arrives at FRA on Saturday and I think it will have some tests at LHR as well.

11am? Not a chance in hell I'll be able to be there. Got an "Aircraft Structures" lecture at that time... Bugger.
If the time changes back to 4pm, could someone post it please? Otherwise I'll just sit around at home feeling miserable for missing a chance to see the longest passenger plane land...

I saw it at ZRH and took about 2 rolls Fuji Provia!!
AWESOME!!!
You should have seen the crowd who was there to see that bird live, on the terrace, and on the ground. Ground handling cars of BA, IB, LH, El Al, Swissport, and others were there. Some Follow me cars were there, caterig cars, crew member cars, it was huge to see the fascination, which came from this aircraft.

26 Gerardo: Ivica I had the chance to shoot a complete roll on approach, then went to the airport itself - driving like Mad Max -, got to the visitor desk and got
27 Craigy: I arranged time off work on 14th Nov to see it splashdown at MAN. Craig.
28 Da fwog: Me too! The picture's going to look dark and misty, but we should get some great wing vortices....
