Here's the reworked Sterling, sharpened ever so slightly and I have lightened it, maybe too much?

Yeah I know, it was around lunchtime and the RWY and taxiway runs in a 17/35 direction. I went spotting anyway since I needed my "fix", haven't been spotting for 2 weeks, hehe. So yes, I am pretty happy that these 2 turned out as good as they did, you should see the rest

It´s better, definitely. I´d give it a go.
The backlit areas are better now. I don´t think you´ve overdone the brightness. However, the top areas of the pic are a bit overexposed, but you may not be able to fix that.
