The second one is great, I love the vibrant red.

The first one is good too, but there some oversharpening under the wing thats bugging me.

Top one is over sharpened and I'd prefer the second one a little lighter and could use some more sharpening here and there.

checkmark  Indeed, but luckily it won´t be too hard to fix.

Agreed again.  yes

The direction of the light isn´t really helpful on these pics, but you managed to get some good results out of it anyway.

Good luck with them. Big grin

Ok, so I will have to do a complete rework of the Transall, only got a saved file after the sharpening was done  Sad
And I want to get it in the DB, there is only one image of this reg...

Here's the reworked Sterling, sharpened ever so slightly and I have lightened it, maybe too much?

Yeah I know, it was around lunchtime and the RWY and taxiway runs in a 17/35 direction. I went spotting anyway since I needed my "fix", haven't been spotting for 2 weeks, hehe. So yes, I am pretty happy that these 2 turned out as good as they did, you should see the rest Big grin

It´s better, definitely. I´d give it a go.  thumbsup
The backlit areas are better now. I don´t think you´ve overdone the brightness. However, the top areas of the pic are a bit overexposed, but you may not be able to fix that.

Good luck with it. Big grin

Cheers

Thanks for your help, the Sterling shot made it into the DB today. I haven't tried the transall yet as I still have some tinkering to do.
