Does anyone know what runway configuration they use for demonstration and where the static displays are located?

I plan to arrive early at the show and get a good seat for photos. However, I am curious about the runway setup for lighting purposes. Hopefully, they are using a N/S heading runway for better lighting throughout the afternoon. Any info would be appreciated.

Maybe someone who has been there in the past could comment. This will be my first time at this show.

I'm planning on being there on saturday.

I found another forum that had some good info.

The discussions in here should answer your questions. According to one post they will be using rwy 32/14. Crowd line is best for PM photos.

Looks like a great lineup. Hopefully the weather will cooperate!

The weather for this year's show was anything but cooperative. The F-15's from the 102nd were shooting IFR approaches to the field, then when they broke out of the clouds, they would perform a quick fly by. Very disappointing overall.

Perhaps next year? But with the 102nd gone soon, one has to wonder what will come of the Cape Cod Air Show.

There is a show going on in Brunswick, ME on September 14-16. It's looking like it is shaping up to be a real decent show (hopefully the weather will cooperate.)

I agree but I had a great time anyway!
