...The AA 738 was stuck in the queue when the site went down and the Jetblue A320 made photog choice (Thanks to all that voted) but didn't show up on the front page... Ah well, at least my other much criticized shot reappeared in the photog choice spot and got stuck there for the duration.

Quoting JeffM (Reply 3): ....yes...massive. Hope you get the hits you need...
Sorry Jeff if I have offended you or caused upset or broken the rules in some way.
How nice it was for the few months when you were absent and not posting this kind of rubbish.
The IT issues with the site over the last 10 days have had an effect on the photographers which make this site. I don't claim that Anet is the be all and end all of life as we know it but some fantastic images have got little exposure due to the times they were added and the site going up and down all the time.
Furthermore Jeff just to clarify I am not in anyway claiming that my images are "Fantastic" but I was pleased to have got some scanned images on from my favourite airport in the world, it was just a bit dissapointing that they were accepted a few minutes before the site was taken down.
I had these accepted during the "down-period", did not receive any mails about their acceptance, but I was glad that they appeared on the website on my birthday Nevertheless, my acceptance ratio is still decreasing...

Thats great you got the shots you wanted, but what does that lessen the pleasure you had taking them. I think for you it might be "about the hits..".
If your images are as nice as you think they are, they will be seen, as for the fantastic ones, they were seen too. But I guess you need the number?
I contacted you back in December 2006 regarding your Sigma 100-300 as I was about to buy one, got no answer.
I contacted you in May 2007 as we were obviously standing next to each other photographing at FRA without knowing it, got no answer.
It was among the last 20 or so to be accepted before the site went down. Oh, and I did vocally propose in the site forum for the site to stop accepting pictures before counting was back on... and got banned for it! My first a.net ban, excellent!
Love to the JetBlue shot!
Nikon: we don't want more pixels, we want better pixels.

After being screened (for over 48 hours!) I managed to find this photo of mine after literally days of sleepless searching the database. I'm glad it's been found, no thanks to DM for the absolutely disgusting service!
