Hi,

My acceptance ratio is slowly getting better, but I am having trouble editing these 2. I don't think I'm going to be able to edit them to a sufficient standard to make it into the DB, but before I give up I thought I'd ask for your help just in case there's anything that can be done. Any suggestions ?

#1 is soft and maybe backlit

#2 is a tad overexposed

I don't know where you see some baklit in this shot, as the sun is illuminating the complete fuselage.. better think of what you write before writing it..  banghead

As for the first shot, It is a bit soft around the nose, and the titles on the No. 2 engine and the tail, but be careful as some parts like the flaps are already a little bit oversharpened and show some minor jaggies..
Maybe give it a little tad less contrast, as this also helps to darken the picture a bit (the fuselage is a little bit to shiny for me... the light reflex doesn't really help either!)
And maybe a little less red and a bit more blue....

For the second: I would say it is also to bright and maybe a little tad oversharpened in some parts and a very little tad soft in others otherwise it looks ok to me..

Hope this helps

Björn

It does help, thanks very much. I'll have another go at another edit but sadly I fear these may not make it, which is a shame as the usual 737/A320 traffic shots I took are all fine!  banghead

Thanks again

The sun is pretty high in the sky, and you look at the aircraft from below so I have to agree with Ilikeflight, it comes pretty close to backlit, although not totally.

For once you have tasted flight you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skywards, for there you have been and ther
