Hi all,
In a few days, I'll be heading down to the FLL area for 6 weeks, and was wondering where some good spots are for spotting at FLL or MIA. I might head up to PBI too, if there's anything worth seeing up there. I won't have a car, so I will be stuck with public transport or taxis (I assume the fare from the airport to a spotting spot would be cheap).
I've heard of the holes at MIA, but I have no clue where they are. So if anyone can help me by letting me know where some good spotting locations at MIA and FLL are, that would be great.

I'll start off by saying this: If you have any intention whatsoever of seeing either the MIA or FLL viewing areas, RENT A CAR!
You might be able to get to each area via taxi, but they're nowhere near any sort of taxi stand or public transport for a return trip. They're both in pretty remote areas. Not to mention if you're staying in the FLL area, MIA is actually a good 25 miles away, one-way...pretty prohibitive for any reasonable cab fare. And although we do have the Tri-Rail train system to connect both airports (somewhat), the shuttle busses from each station will only take you to the terminal areas. Forget walking from them to the viewing areas, too.
Anyway, once you've sorted out the transportation issues, here's a starting point:
FLL:
MIA:
I'm sure you'll have a ton more questions, so feel free to ask, or PM me. I know this place like the back of my hand.
