I have been using it for several months, its good for adjusting the image levels, cropping and exposure of an image (The screeners may disagree) Not so good for anything like, resizing, sharpening or noise reduction which I do in CS2, or Elements.
The database feature is very useful for keeping track of your images if you take too many like I do.

I use LR, and for the most part like it, except for the un-turn-offable (?) sharpening on export.
1.2's lens correction features for CA and fringing are great. I also like its tone correcting features but its auto function leaves much to be desired.
It also has great B&W/split toning functions.
