There is no aircraft in the first 1/3 of the photo. Don't worry about cropping the vertical stabilizer in this case, centering is far more important.

Crop out the stabilizer and see if you can get an equal balance of the aircraft in the photo.  Smile

Nice shot Kevin.

I would appeal it.

Well, never mind then! A screener's opinion will always come before mine.  Smile

That isn't always true. I see the point you were making with your crop suggestion, but I like Kevin's original. The buttery smooth background and exhaust heat really give the photo its feel.

Yes, indeed. However, it still seems a little lopsided to me, but it's just my opinion.

This is kind of what I was getting at, although with the original, one could surely proportion the picture better:

The aircraft is a little more centered this way - just a better feeling IMO.

A great photograph either way you look at it.  Smile

Thanks for the comments guys!
I reworked the image but I don't like it as much with the T tail chopped.....
what do you think?

BTW, If i appeal the photo and it is rejected does that mean I can't rework it for a new submission?
Cheers,

Kevin

Hmm, I'm starting to like the original photo more too. Well, at least you have something to resort to if your appeal is rejected.

Nope! You can rework the photo as many times as you like (well, within reasonable boundaries).

Good luck!
