Hi,

a few days ago my photo (which was already accepted since few months ago) was removed from the db.
However I did not received any information about the deletion.
I would like to know the reason for removing.

The registration was D-AIQU.
Please let me know if you need more information.

Thx
Anto

Anto - don't recall any pictures being deleted, is this the one you are after?

It was added in June, and is still there.

Thanks for the feedback Royal.

It is another one.

I had 555 accepted photos in the db. A few days ago I looked at my pictures. There was one photo at the beginning of the listing which was not thumb-nailed. It has also tne photo ID #: 90000.... It was completely dark and If I clicked on it (in order to make it larger), it was also dark. The other information were correctly shown. (name, date, aircraft, round about 700 clicks, etc...) I first thought there are technical problems.
A day later the photo was completely lost.

Maybe the reason is, because off I already have one photo of this registration in the database. Or there are quality reasons.
I can live with it. Its no problem. But it would be nice if I could get the real reason.

Also I would like to know, can a photo be removed afterwards for quality reasons?

Regards
Anto

A photo can be removed after it has been added, for a lot of reasons.

You might want to contact the editors on editors@airliners.net and ask them.

But wouldn't you at least notify the photographer?
