Not sure either. Yes its soft, but I'd be also concerned about a distance rejection.

Great shot. Can´t comment on quality, but I agree with Martin´s comment about 'distance'.
I think that a portrait crop might help, but you´ll not be able to show the vapour well. You can also re-crop, leaving the aircraft a bit more to the left in order to show the vapour action better. Depends on the original, though.

I had a feeling that it would probably be kicked for distance, but I just can't crop it anymore w/o suffering quality issues.
