Hello!

I made this photo yesterday but I am not sure if I should upload it or not. The problem is the grainy background. The photo was made with ISO L1 (100).

Big version: Width: 1280 Height: 853 File size: 705kb

Thanks for your help!

Best Regards!

Gert

Hi Gert,

For me the background is just border line, but the aircraft is pin sharp!

The only other thing is I think it needs a little CCW rotation.

Good luck

Colin

With some judicious noise reduction you should have no problem fixing up the grain in the background. The aircraft itself has a slight blurry look to it, though, so I would probably downsize to 1024. Also, some CCW rotation is needed.

Should be a go-er after that!

Great photo otherwise - I think I saw this same bird at LCY a few weeks ago!

I'd be using layers for this one. Remove the grain from the background on one. That way it doesn't hinder with the aircraft, cause its looks great as is. Just work on the background.

I can't see the blurriness on the A/C myself. Well done on the shot!
