I took these shots last week. Should I submit both, none, or maybe one but not the other? Any help or criticism on ways to make these shots better would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

The first ones better because it shows more of the beach and it looks better like that.

Hi
Both very nice shots. The first one will be more appealing, but the second one shows an angle that isn´t so common. Don´t submit both. Submit the first one if you like, but only that one.
On some more technical aspect I think that the contrast/saturation is a bit too high and that it may also need a tad CW rotation. Just a thought, it may be a bit picky, but verticals on the right seem to be leaning more than the ones near the left border, and the ones in the center are a bit off to the left. Try it out, but if you feel the level is OK like this, go ahead.
Hope it helps. Good luck with it!
Cheers

The first one looks slightly blurry (tad soft in parts, very sharp in others), so in this respect I'd go for the second. However, both are very marginal in terms of quality, looking grainy (sky), with slightly too high contrast and saturation. Don't know if this comes from the originals or are due to editing, though.
Good luck !

It seems like there is a halo around the edge of the tail. But cool shots indeed!

Here are the same two. I tried to eliminate the grainy stuff around the clouds.
