Hi, I am new at aviation photography, and live in billings, mt, where we only have 5 flights a day, on 5 airlines, but I seem to keep getting blurry shots, what might cause this.

Blury shots may be caused by:

1. crappy lens lens(unlikely though)
2.slow shutter speed at which camera shake blures the image
3.bad panning for action shots

It would help if told us what camera/lens/film combination you are using.

4. athmospheric haze. Either from air rising over hot ground or from high humidity.
5. bad filter on the lens
6. bad printing by the lab
7. problem with the focussing on your scanner or camera.

I wish I were flying
