Had a conversation with co worker on this...recently new evidence has been released due to the freedom of information act and reputable sources , including NORAD, all have corroberated sightings of ufo's. Lufthansa and BA captains have witnessed such events as well. All speak of these extremely large a nimble craft, with apparently no seams or rivets etc, funky lighting...bla, bla bla...how come with all of US global photographers out there with our eyes and lenses skyward, we have never captured one? Probably wouldn't be accepted on A/Net any way as no catagory exists. It sounds silly, but seriously, has anyone taken a shot at one and is afraid to post it?

I took a shot of SOMETHING in Brazil in 1994. I was only 14 then but it was definately strange - there were many people out on their balconies above and below me staring at it. It even appeared in a local paper the following day, Whether it was a spacecraft or not (I doubt it) it was definately a UFO to me; however I'm sure there was a rational explanation.

The photo was taken with 35mm film by an SLR and I still have the print somewhere. I'm sure it would get a blurry/soft/motive/contrast/dark rejection........

It is funny to talk about UFO's...in the 1950's very few used to carry cameras around and there were lots and lots of photos. Today everybody has a cellphone that takes pictures and records videos and so far...not a single image.

I am not saying that UFO's are real or false. Never saw something unknown flying.  scratchchin

Recently in Texas, more sightings, even by law officials all describing the same thing...but no pix!!!.....Perhaps at night we could redirect those traffic light cameras upwards, you know the ones that get our tag numbers and send surprise tickets in the mail!

I have photographed something that I had logical reason to believe was a UFO.

I was with my girlfriend on Bournemouth beach when we saw an object circling in the sky. Then, as it made a straightish south-north line out of its circling pattern, it appeared to 'simply disappear', in her words. As it did, I fired the shutter on my old Nikon 8800.

I do not claim this is an alien craft. I merely cannot explain it as something within my knowledge. Please, do not flame me - I'm not trying to influence anyone!

Here:

A 400% crop from an 8MP image.

All the best,

Toni

I'm even shocked anyone replied to this thread...the reality is for myself, not too long ago a Lufthansa flight over Long Island was straffed by a close ultra high speed cigar shaped object, soon to follow,... another airliner, believe it was British Air also had object exercise a HIGH SPEED run at the boeing. My brothers air guard unit had a KC-135 tanker up in the Alaskan region paced by three green lights displaying agressive and radical maneuvers....for myself, I'm surprised after 52 years I stil haven't fallen on my face and broken my nose as everywhere I go, I'm looking up at aircraft...haven't seen any flying cigars, however,..I do believe that if one lands in front of me and an alien descends the passageway, it's going to be Hillary Clinton.

But then they would no longer be UFOs - they would simply be FOs.

Would this shot of mine be acceptable?

Glad to see this thread has stayed in good spirits and not turned into a bash-the-believers event - everyone I show that picture to in person seems to fall about laughing at me! Big grin

It is, however, completely genuine. As far as I'm concerned, until someone identifies it to me, it's a UFO...

Whether we should believe in alien life or not, I don't know. The truth is out there...

For all of you potential UFO hunters, I know back in the early 90's Pensacola, Florida was a UFO Hot Spot. Kinda interesting when you think that NAS Pensacola was the first Naval Air Station and is a rather large base and there have been a considerable number of sightings there. I'm not shouting conspiracy but you never know.

Do you mean Gulf Breeze? I always thought that was an elaborate hoax myself, especially after seeing the "lampshade" UFO pics. Although I'm not a UFO sceptic, I've yet to see a truly convincing "UFO/alien craft" image.
