Hi,
I was wondering what you think of this email. Do you think he really wants to hangs them on his wall? Or is he trying to get it for free and then use it commercially?

Here is the mail:

Douglas,
Flew for ACA from 06/00 until Independence Air took over...and then went out of buisness.
Looking for pics to hang at home to remember the "good ol' days."
Please send an email attachment your Jetstream picture taxiing on the snow covered field.
thanks
Chris

Hi,

of course we can't be sure what he'll use the picture for but I would trust him. The message is personal and he explains why he likes the picture.

I had the same email regarding my photo, however mine is a photo scan so not the best quality. I don't think I'll be sending him a copy.

How polite...... and good grammar too  Yeah sure

If you want to make sure he'll not abuse the file, ask how big he wants it, get him transferring the money and make the print yourself.

If he wants it badly enough he should be willing to pay for it.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I emailed him and he replied that he just came across the photo and so it is only for personal use. I'l be sending him the photo later tonight.

Hi Douglas,

what I would do is send the photo for printing to London Drugs or Walmart, or any other place that takes orders online, in his town for him to pick it up. It's at no cost to you and he doesn't get the digital file.

Well that a good idea! Still haven't sent him the file so I will think about it.

Thanks

I sent him the photos today, letting him now how photography equipment is expensive and that I appreciate any $$, and he is now wondering how much I was thinking about! And well... I don't know.

What would you suggest?

Thanks for the help,

Cheers,
Douglas

Well, you would have the 1024 pixel version, not the hight quality one.
