Hi,

looks strange to me. Some areas are oversharpened (jagged) but overall it looks soft to me. Noticed this with many of your uploads. What settings do you use for sharpening?

Please feel free to send me the original file.

Stefan

Hi John,

Can you include more of the port wing? The centering isn't very nice.

You can get priority only if a livery is a first for the whole airline or aircraft type, not for an individual aiframe.
But what's up with the tailfin? Is this a new variant of the colour scheme or a new special colour scheme? In that case you can upload with priority.

Hi,

try to sharpen on a second layer and erase jaggies with the eraser-tool.

that nose looks pretty hot. Might have a bit too much contrast as well.

Hi,

maybe you didn't use the right settings for the eraser then...
Can you please send me the original picture?

If it's really new to a.net, you have a potential winner
If you can fix it that is.
I think this crop is a bit better, even though the tailplane is cut.

Lots JPG compression going on in the reds, or they are sharpening artifacts. Either way, that needs fixing. And as Peter says, the crop is a bit unbalanced.
We already have a photo of the new scheme for a couple of days now. No reason for this to get priority.

Did you use neatimage or some other application to get rid of noise? It looks a bit too smooth to me.

In regards to you're Unsharp mask settings, that's why its soft. I needs a tad more.

Try 0.2 and give it more percentage.

Quoting Johnsiebert (Reply 13):

Does look better I think.

If you do cut the tailplane, the more you cut off, the better. Max height at 1024 pix wide is 768 pix (excluding the black banner), which means you could alter the crop a bit more.
