Should I Have Ticked Airport Overview On This One?

If you look over our winglet on this one:

you'll see an airfield (it's WIE, close to FRA). I decided not to tick Airport Overview because (a) the airport is too small to see any detail (in fact, I only realized during editing that there's an airport there!) and (b) the motiv of the shot is the landscape, not just the airport. Did I make the right decision?

Also, any feedback on the shot would be appreciated.

Regards,

Tony

I would say no also. The intent of airport overview is just that, to see an overview of an airport but with detail.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the heads up and for confirming that I did the right thing; it was good to double check though!

What you mean? I didn't tick airport overview, but I did indicate the location as WIE, as you can see it from the window...

Hmm...OK. Why then put in the airfield if you are not going to check airport overview? In Flight would be a better choice.

Oh, I see what you're asking now. Well, this is what I had done in the past with some other submissions, like these two:

(where you can see the airport, but it's tiny). So I was being consistent with what had got accepted in the past. Also,

Well, in my opinion, the more specific the information, the better. So, WIE is much for informative than "In Flight", as the latter could be anywhere over Germany, where a location of WIE narrows it down.

But, given that you're the DB editor, if you really think this approach is wrong, please let me know and I'll follow what you think it's right in the future (and you're more than welcome to ammend the info on the above shots).
