These photos got rejected because of low quality and DPI. I fixed them and they still got rejected for the same problem. Can someone tell me what is wrong. I think they are good but maybe I am missing something.

Hi Mark

1) Not sharp enough. There is something strange about it. I cannot fully figure. Are you despeckling or blurring the shot deliberately during the process somewhere?

2) This is the same. the cheat line is showing a jagged edge too. What photo-programme are you using?
Adobe Photo Delux? It's known to do that to fine lines if you try to rotate an image. Just guessing.

3) Overexposed MD-80 in the foreground and there is a distinct line in the sky down the middle.

4) The Air Canada titles look a bit distorted.
I could understand that heat haze could cause that, but I don't think it is.

You'll have to explain to me the process you used to come to these results. You haven't gone straight for the quick "sharpen" to get a sharp shot, you've done something else that is killing the detail in the photographs.

I hope this helps...

Cheers

Gerry/EDI

i used photoshop and adobe and i used the despeckle and i increased the threshhold to full, then i took away the noise level in adobe to around 45 and then let the program automatically fix it. Thanks

....i used the despeckle ...

Don't use it Mark, it's killing all the details in your photo's.
If you have to use it, use it only on the sky and very sparingly.
