All too dark! I prefer them moody... any hints and tips for improvement would be greatly appreciated!

#3 and #4 look absolutely great - I'd happily frame both of them and have them on my wall. Great shots!

Thanks for that! Should I run the risk of putting them in the queue?

Don't think they can make it unfortunately, but the timing is great in the arrows shot! Very nice.
Was that this year's RIAT? Glad I didn't come then Big grin

It was RAF Waddington's airshow- RIAT is this weekend coming. It's a shame that these photos weren't accepted here. They were "elsewhere" and 3 became photo of the day with around 27000 views between them- better than this site at the moment...

Not that I think they will make it.

A Red Arrows shot of mine:

I agree and I'm not surprised of the views ... absolutely amazing shots! Especially #3 ... it would be a big mistake to not have them on a.net IMO  Smile

Sorry, I meant "wouldn't be"-I've not tried. Based on what I believe to be better images of mine being rejected by this site, I am very wary of what I upload now, which is such a shame! I would love to have these accepted on here, to try and bring something different to the database than side on shots of A380s...  Wink

I'll email the screeners, see if there's anything that can be done.

I love the way the light shines on it, but it's too big to crop and the quality isn't the greatest.

Quoting Flynavy (Reply 16):

thanks!

but it is unworthy. the shot would be rejected for not being centered and cropped properly, and to me the sun and the trails are what MAKE the shot.

Im not too sure - why don't you try uploading, and add a note to the screeners explaining why it should be accepted?

Thought about uploading D-AIGC but wasn't sure (probably looking at quality issues).

beautiful. just beautiful. especially that second shot. i've been trying to get that kind of shine coming off the fuse, but its been 'june gloom' here and the light hasn't been cooperative.
