Hello all !!!!!

I often have rejected photos for "grainy" and "oversharpened" reasons. Could somebody give me any advice to improve my photos?

Following, two rejected photos :

Apply less sharpening... they look jagged even on my laptop which is usually VERY forgiving when it comes to that.

How do you sharpen? Looks like you just hit "sharpen" - or even "sharpen more"

phildu56,

It is grainy and oversharpened.

Try to use the Photoshop feature 'Unsharp mask' (Filter --> Sharpen -->). Use not big radius (I use 0,2) and try to add sharpness step by step until it will not look well. Note also that parts of you picture can be softer than others. Try to make additional cick of sharpness to this areas.

Regards,

Fyodor
