This shot got rejected. I understand the oversharpening and will get help with the contrast. I am wondering about the cropping:
I got a personal note that it is too low in the frame. I can not go any lower. And it is cropped 3:2 ratio, so I can not take more off the top. Does this mean the shot is a write off for A,net?

Quoting Viv (Reply 2): There IS scope for cropping more off the top, because of the empty space behind the tail.
I guess part of what I am asking is do the afterburner rings I deliberatley left in add enough to the picture to keep in?
I have left as much as possible on the front and bottom in my cropping. There is absolutely no way to raise the plane with losing afterburner or nose because of a slight rotation issue. This is an uncropped/unedited version

So is the lesson I need to take away to not zoom in as close so I have more crop flexibility?
Or centre the aircraft in the frame when taking the shot.
I checked..he was on the ground 4 seconds! I took 21 shots. He was on afterburner from touch down. I estimate he was going at least 300mph based on the size of the runway. I don't think I did too bad having him centered..Considering that was a 200 mm focal length.
