Hi all,
I am looking for a wide angle lens to buy as what I currently have doesn't do the job. I was looking at the Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM. Looks good, but the price is high and it made me look at the Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM. The price is lower, but from what I read it does really well.
What are your thoughts about these lens? Have you used any of them? Any other suggestions? I'd like to try and keep the price below $500.01
Thanks for any help, --Calfo--

I've had both and like the 10-22 better. It is worth the extra money from the difference I have seen in the photos.

I have the Canon 10-22 and find it to be very good. I haven't used the Sigma 10-20 although I know of people who like it. My experience with Sigma is that the quality can vary a great deal.

Quoting Calfo (Reply 6): Well, I decided to order the Canon 10-22mm. Should get it in a few days. I'm excited to try it out and see how I like it!
Let us know what you think of it!!!
