Hi everybody. I had this photo rejected for a couple of reasons. Now, I'd like to know what you guys think of that photo.
Here are rejection reasons: quality, colour, contrast, soft, common.
It's my 7th attempt. I choose only the best photos from my collection. To be honest, I agreed with the former rejection reasons but here I'm truly amazed by quality, colour, common.
I'd appreciate your comments. Thanks in advance.

I agree with the soft and contrast issues, and although I can't tell for sure there may be small quality issues too. Colour, however, looks OK to me (or certainly will when given a kick of contrast).

Contrast without a doubt. Looks funky to me. Soft and also a weird crop too. Looks slightly low in the frame. As for common I don't know how many pics of that subject are in the DB but if it's many the quality isn't there.

Gosh! Karl. You're quick and good. Thanks!
Anyway, I forgot to add that I agree with that contrast and soft reasons and I'm pretty upset that I screw it up and uploaded the photo without noticing it.
I shoot in RAW and use CS3 for post-processing. I always try to eliminate highlight and shadow clipping so that may be the reason for the lack of contrast here. I'm gonna check the crop as well. Thanks for replies. I'm not going to give up.

Hi Piotr,
Yes, some gentle clipping usually doesn't hurt and gives the photo more punch. A tip: If you press the ALT key while playing with the left or right slider, the screen wil go white/black and you can see exactly where in the picture the clipping occurs.

Quoting Ptrjong (Reply 9): Have fun. When do you plan to go to Schiphol?
On Sunday or Monday (that is 10th or 11th of August). I'll be going by car with my friend. We're leaving our place on Thursday evening and we hope to cover all the distance from Warsaw to Amsterdam in two days. Anyway, we're going to stay in Amsterdam for at least 6 nights.
