I have been to JFK to spot a couple of times, but I am hoping to go soon to get some shots of the A380. And, I was wondering if anybody knew if there was one runway that it always used. Or at least which runway it use a majority of the time when they have parallel runways in use.

It all depends
If they are using 22L/R, you can expect it on the left side. If they are using 31L/R, again it will come in on the left side - you see most heavies come to the right, but due to taxiway size, it's a tough turn at the end if the A380 lands on the right. I haven't seen her come in on 13 or 4 yet, so I don't know, but I would expect they would use 4R (and really, the best spot for Rwy 4 spotting will give you a shot at her either way). I heard she landed 13R last week, which is unusual - usually if the 13s are in operation, they will be landing 13L and departing 13R, but again, it may be due to taxi restrictions.
Right now, she arrives Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, scheduled for approximately 2:15pm (+/- depending on wx, etc.) Unfortunately, she departs after dark, so unless we get an unexpected 12 hour delay, we won't be getting any departure shots. Beginning October 1, she is scheduled to become a daily visitor.
