Dear Sirs,

Our company is now selecting photomaterials for a 2009 calendar (A2 format).

We are looking for photos of aircraft equipment, including the following close-ups:

• Fuselage of an airplane and/or helicopter
• A wing and/or its elements
• Tail empennage
• Turbine, turbine/fan blades
• Jet engine exhaust
• Propellers
• Undercarriage
• Front close-up view of an aircraft; front close up of a missile
• Helicopter main rotor and/or tail rotor
• Technological processes of production of aircraft components

If it's possible, please send a preview on this subject-matter or references to your portfolio to the e-mail:
These photos should illustrate the materials used in aircraft construction.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

My reply:
Before I submit any samples I would like to get some more details about your company.

1. Your company name
1.1 Contact information (incl. telephone number, position, address and URL)

Furthermore I would like to know how the contributor will be compensated.
Thank you

Ever since......Silence on the other end. Love it!

Vasco G.

For me, it has gotten to the point where if a commercial photo inquiry does not allude to some form of compensation on initial contact (ask how much, offer something, etc.) I just don't bother replying. Perhaps not the best approach but I've wasted enough time with freeloaders and I just won't do it anymore.
