I was looking at some pictures and saw this one:

How did that get on a.net? It seem far too grainy for there "high" standards on here? Any insight as to why this picture was approved?

It also seems overexposed in my opinion... look at the background!!! Probably the screeners accepted it because it's very rare at the moment and because of it's the first one in the database...  Wink

It needs CCW rotation also , but newer images will be of better quality surely. Interesting picture of Brazil's boundaries created with colourful rectangles on the tail.

Exactly. When it's new and newsworthy, it gets first dibs and the rules are a bit relaxed. I have had brand new, newsworthy shots rejected before. But the rules are relaxed a tad because the situations may not always present themselves for the "perfect" ANet style shot.
