As this morning seemed quite a good day I went up here to do some spotting. Anyone who spots here will know that the Ikea multi-storey carpark is the best spot to go.
Well when I got there I aggonisingly discoverd the multi-storey to be closed! It could be reasonable to assume that they are closing it during calm periods. Only thing is that I have never had this problem in all the time since it opened a year back.
I havent been there at all this summer so do any of the regulars know if this is the normal procedure now or was today just a one of? If this to be a normal procedure then my spotting career over the winter could be ruined!

Hi there Keith, I was actually spotting there yesterday (Friday) and the top two levels were also closed off. This is very unusual as they are usually open, however me and a friend parked on the ground level, and walked up the stairway to the top carpark to plane spot. No security personnel came which kind of suggested that it was ok, otherwise they'd have blocked off the stairways also.
I have no reason as to why and how long the top car park will be closed off for. Hopefully it's only temporary as with Autumn/Winter coming, it will be nice to warm up in the car, as it can get quite cold and windy up there.
Can you say 'Beer Can' without sounding like a Jamaican saying 'Bacon'?
