Hi all. I'm embarking upon a bit of a mission, going through my old prints from way back when.... The scanner I have now, although it does the trick, needs to be replaced as I'm pretty sure I could get better results with a modern one. (The one I have now is touching 6 years). I'll be using it entirely for scanning prints, not slides. Suggestions please.

Using scanners below £300-400 that is about the best you'll get - no need to upgrade in my opinion. Very nice shot by the way!
Quoting Paulinbna (Reply 4): How much post processing is involved in these images, or are these the results after a scan??
Both my examples and Spencer's too have been through processing - raw out of the scanner they actually look pretty awful! Processing for scans is a lot more demanding and takes a lot longer but worth it if you can dig out some golden oldies!
