Three new countries have been added to the lists. Well, they are not new, but separated from their previous UK listings
Guernsey, Jersey and Isle of Man were previously listed as UK - Guernsey, etc. After some comment that we received and some internal discussion we decided to give them independent listings.
These three are dependencies of the English Crown. They are not part of Great Britain (which is England, Scotland and Wales), nor of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, although the UK Government is constitutionally responsible for their defense and international representation. They are also not European Union members.
The Isle of Man has recently adopted their own aircraft registration prefix M- although in the far past this was used by Spain. Examples of both are these two:
