I'm sure the issue of Center rejection has come up in the forums before, but I haven't seen a more definite answer on this subject.

I have created 2 sample pictures.....both could be argued are centered, but in different ways.

I have had my photos rejected for both types of centering, so I want some definite clarification.

Sample 1:

Big version: Width: 533 Height: 800 File size: 181kb

The aircraft is centered top to bottom with equal margins on the top and bottom.
Unfortunately this looks very uneven.

Sample 2:
Big version: Width: 800 Height: 533 File size: 206kb

Here the fuselage is more centered, but now the bottom has more dead space and the top has the wing almost to the edge of the page....but the feel is a lot more balanced.

I would love to hear some expert opinion on what is the proper way of centering for this type of shot? I think another alternative would be somewhere in the middle of the 2 examples I have provided.

Thanks guys.

I can only see small white dots... and when opened, no picture is shown...

But, until we can see the pictures posted, this is a very good read (prepared by Thierry Deutsch):
