Anyone going to be in the LAX area the 13th or 14th? I am non reving out there for a few days and would like to go to LAX either of those days, depending on when I get out there. If anyone is interested in meeting up, message me and we will set something up.

Anyone? How is spotting at the In N Out Burger? I am planning on spending most of my day there. Last time I was there I didn't really have any issue with the cops but was wondering if they still pretty much left you alone or if it had gotten any worse? Any specific or general spotting info is greatly appreciated.

The 13th and 14th I will probably be in the LA area, but I will very likely be carless. I might be able to use my aunt or her fiancee's car, but thats 50/50. But I will be definitely be in LA and looking to spot and spend some time at the airport.

If only it were the Weekend of the 24th. I am flying down from SFO to attend the LA Airliner Expo and will be spending a lot of time at Imperial Hill and In-N-Out. Have fun though!! LAX is great for spotting!!!

I was at the In-N-Out location a week ago, and a thing to remember is that at that location, you will be backlit, so the light won't be all that great.

Sorry, I was on the landline

Yeah, In'N'Out is only good for A.net photography in the summer in the late afternoon. Otherwise, you will be backlit. It's a great place to meet and chill, but now is not the time of year to attempt shooting from there.

This time of year is the time for either the parking lots (North or South side, whichever you prefer, as long as you are to the SOUTH of the approach path) or Imperial Hill.

I can recomend the Flight Path Museum at LAX. if you ask the volunters, they will let you go out on the taxiway to take pictures. It is on Imperial Highway. i do not remeber the adress, so just google it.

The 747 will always be the TRUE queen of the skies!
