Hi All,
I'm off to Mombasa (Kenya) in a couple of weeks for a bit of relaxation, diving and safari. I've done a quick search and found very little information so thought I'd ask. I'm not expecting much traffic, but does anyone know if there's any viewing area in the terminal and whether there'll be any problems with security if I take a few frames? I've read the terminal is open air with few windows so if there's a nice view over the apron, it'll be worth grabing a few frames.
Thanks,
Darren

Hi Darren,
I've only been at MBA on a stopover enroute from Kilimajaro Airport (JRO) to FRA a few years ago. However, I manages to snap some photos from inside the terminalbuilding. Even though you have to shoot through glass, the results were decent enough. I personally did not encounter any problems with security, but as goes for a lot airports worldwide I wouldn't take that for granted. Keeping a low profile when spotting is always a good idea...
To give you an impression of the possible photos, I've shamelessly plugged a photo of mine:
